13 Things We Learned From Seth Rollins On Talk Is Jericho
13. Making His Return
The two chop it up with some banter about fan art they’ve received, with Chris stating that anytime he receives some “less than professional quality” renderings he always sends them to Seth, citing a selfie they took during Rollins’ first time on Talk is Jericho as inspiration. Y2J then dives right in asking Seth what it felt like to return after several months on the shelf.
The former WWE world champion said it felt amazing, he spent the entire time he was on the sidelines waiting around and wondering what it would be like when he finally got back out there, but his comeback at Extreme Rules and the following Monday Night Raw were awesome. Rollins says that the fans have been great and incredibly supportive throughout this entire process and is happy about the reception he got when he returned.
He says the old cliché about it being just like riding a bicycle isn’t true in his case because you get out of practice and worry that you’ve forgotten how to perform. He was a little bit nervous about getting back out there, wondering ‘Can I do this again? Will it be everything I remember?’ but “Literally once I got out there and put the microphone I my hand I was like ‘Oh yeah, I got this.’”
