8. Swinger Gets His Wish
For the past few months, all Johnny Swinger has wished for was to have a tag team partner to call his own. He tried and failed with Willie Mack, while his partnership with Glenn Gilbertti (thankfully) lasted way shorter. However, it seems as if Chris Bey will take 'The Swing Man' up on his offer, as The Finesse and Bench Press Express was born on the latest Locker Room Talk.
Swinger repeatedly answered Bey's questions on the hottest talk show on television, much to the annoyance of Madison Rayne. It was revealed that the newest tandem in Impact Wrestling will have their first official match next week, colliding with Willie Mack and Cousin Jake, stemming from the X Division Champion saving Jake from a beatdown last week. A tough outing for Swinger and Bey.
Surprisingly, this relationship between Swinger and Bey has been rather enjoyable to watch. You could argue that 'The Ultimate Finesser' is simply using Swinger to get further ahead in his Impact career, but that aside, they've been fun together thus far. Here's hoping that continues.
