12. Hall Of Kong
Although it was spoiled when it was initially taped, the announcement of Awesome Kong's induction into the IMPACT Hall Of Fame is long overdue.
A former Knockouts Champion, Kong is a rightful inductee into the prestigious organisation. Because IMPACT traditionally inducts one wrestler/tag team a year, it feels more special. That was certainly the case here, with Kong making a handful of jokes relating to her being more out of breath from cutting a promo than when she wrestled Gail Kim. She's a forgotten jokester because of her reputation as this monstrous knockout.
She'll be officially inducted on 23 October. Props to IMPACT for - presumably - putting this on the main Bound For Glory card rather than a separate event prior to the pay-per-view like they have in previous years.
