13 WTF Moments From WWE SmackDown (Feb 21)
It's the 1994 Royal Rumble all over again!
Tumbling out of the ring with grace and precision, the skilful Bret Hart ensured that both he and Lex Luger struck the mats surrounding ringside at exactly the same time back in 1994. There was none of that on this week's SmackDown, even if AJ Styles did try his best.
God bless you, AJ, we hope it's you who is going to the main event of WrestleMania 33 after carrying WWE's top line scene for much of 2016.
In one of the most bizarre pieces of booking in recent memory, fan favourite (and usually passive SmackDown Live GM) Daniel Bryan came across like the brand's top heel with some of his announcements this week; seriously, what was up with Bryan courting boos like he was Eric Bischoff circa 2002?
At least big JBL was on top form (by which we mean he was all over the place on commentary) and Dolph Ziggler cut one of his lamest ever promos to keep us ticking along towards 'Mania.

13. Elite Superstars, Huh?
Curse you, Randy Orton. Curse you because you forced SmackDown's creative team to show just how little depth there is on the blue brand's roster this week.
After Randy announced that he wouldn't challenge Bray Wyatt for the WWE Title, the writers decided to shoe-horn 10 of the "most elite superstars" into one battle royal to determine a new top contender.
One question: since when have guys like Kalisto and Apollo Crews been "elite superstars" in WWE?
