Super Bowl: XIV WrestleManias: XII, XIII But the biggest wrestling success on this list has to be the Man They Call Vader. As Leon White, he played for the Los Angeles Rams in a losing effort in Super Bowl XIV. His NFL career would be very short-lived (he only played that one season), but as Vader, he enjoyed a ton of success in the squared circle. After a lengthy career in Japan and WCW, Vader made his way to WWF, where he would compete in two WrestleManias, winning a six-man tag match with Owen Hart and the British Bulldog over Ahmed Johnson, Jake The Snake Roberts and Yokozuna at XII, and failing to win the Tag Team Championships with partner Mankind against Hart and the Bulldog at XIII.Although Vader still was wrestling for WWF in 1998, he missed WrestleMania XIV (which would have been awesome, having played in Super Bowl XIV) due to Kane injuring him in storyline. By that time, Vader was on the outs and would start to slide further down the card, until he left toward the end of 1998.
