14 New WWE Signings Revealed
WWE just signed 14 new athletes after its SummerSlam tryouts in Nashville.
14 new athletes have joined WWE's ranks following the promotion's recent tryouts in Nashville, Tennessee.
WWE Executive Vice President, Talent Relations Paul 'Triple H' Levesque revealed the Performance Center's latest recruitment class via a video posted to the @WWERecruit Twitter account on Wednesday. Their names are as follows:-

- Gabrielle Dunn
- Rickssen Opont
- Alivia Ash
- Harleigh White
- Chukwusom Enekwechi
- Jade Gentile
- Anna Keefer
- Breanna Ruggiero
- Beau Morris
- Franki Strefling
- Hayden Pittman
- Lea Mitchell
- Kevin Ventura-Cortes

None of the above will enter WWE with significant professional wrestling experience. These pre-SummerSlam 2022 tryouts were attended exclusively by athletes who hadn't served time on the independent circuit, reflective of the recruitment strategy implemented by Vince McMahon in 2021. Now, with McMahon out as CEO and Chairman, WWE is expected to adjust again, with Triple H reportedly looking to recruit independent wrestlers on top of other athletes.
Around 50 athletes attended WWE's July tryouts, including 8-time NBA All-Star Dwight Howard. The former Orlando Magic star, who played for the Los Angeles Lakers last season, is currently a free agent, as he is yet to have secured a spot on an NBA team for the upcoming campaign.
There were reportedly multiple injuries at the SummerSlam tryouts, which the Wrestling Observer attributed to the participants' inexperience.
