Most of the reasons that made 2015 a disaster revolved around decisions made by the WWE. This one wasn't something they could control. The year started on a positive note with Daniel Bryan announcing his return to the WWE and his participation in the 2015 Royal Rumble. Unfortunately, things didn't turn out great as he was forced to vacate his newly won Intercontinental Championship shortly after WrestleMania 31 and may never return to a WWE ring. The biggest star of 2015 has arguably been Seth Rollins. After his historic Money In The Bank cash-in during the main event of WrestleMania, Rollins went on to hold the title for 7 months before injury forced him to vacate the title. That's two former WWE Champions currently out of action, and one's career is in serious doubt. Beyond those two huge names Randy Orton recently suffered another shoulder injury that has also put his career in question. Sami Zayn is only just now returning to the ring after suffering a shoulder injury of his own, and Sting suffered multiple injuries in his main event match against Seth Rollins at Night Of Champions. There's been other superstars that have been hit with injury too, but the amount of top level talents that were seriously hurt this year made 2015 made not just the worst year from a creative standpoint, but the worst ever for injuries as well.
