This gets said every week because the guy is on the show every week, but Pete Dunne's so awesome, and he put in a great shift here to help elevate exciting prospect Damien Priest.

Holding back on the 'Archer Of Infamy' for the first few weeks appeared to be a statement of intent from NXT gaffers - this match and its result was the latest tell. The packaging is already spot on, so reps such as this will only advance him up the black-and-gold brand faster. Even Mauro Ranallo was forced to fight with the word "toxophilite" just add to the presentation, but his bullsh*t wasn't required by the fervent finish.

Though Dunne couldn't score with the Bitter End or a moonsault, he did at least make it to Priest's fingers before getting hoofed with a low blow to set up The Reckoning and a huge upset win. The 'Bruiserweight' needs to relocate his killer instinct - those coming up underneath him have it to spare.
