As daft as it was, the Best Friends and Orange Cassidy's win over QT Marshall and the returning John Silver and Alex Reynolds was a fun little romp that effectively highlighted one of AEW's most over acts in the babyface trio.

Trent's Rick and Morty wig fell off on a shoulder block. He placed it back atop his head only for Silver to yank it off again, before Marshall drew the bout's biggest heat by interrupting the obligatory Chuckie T./Trent hug spot. Orange Cassidy, in a moment reminiscent of Kazuchika Okada finally shedding the long boys at Wrestle Kingdom 13 (h/t Michael Sidgwick), shed the gimmick, destroyed QT with those shin-breaking kicks, nailed his hands-in-pockets dive, and Best Friends hit the Strong Zero for a quick, decisive win.

Say what you will about Cassidy and his style (the complaints are valid), but the guy gets a stronger response from AEW crowds than the vast majority of WWE's wrestlers do from their library-quiet audiences.
