14 WWE Wrestlers Who Defied Gravity Before Neville

By Scott Saunders /

8. Dynamite Kid

Speaking of influencing people to follow in your footsteps, Neville himself has admitted that the British-born Dynamite Kid did exactly that for him during his younger days. The two are similar in stature, and while Dynamite was a good couple of generations ahead of one of England's newest wrestling stars, his legacy is undeniable. Dynamite Kid's use of the diving head-butt meant that even stars of the recent past and even the present look to use it as part of their attack. Neville is a little more over the top in terms of style than Dynamite was, but along with the admission that he was a major influence, Neville cites Dynamite Kid as the man he would have wanted to face in his dream match. He said: €œHe€™s very much an influence on me. I was a big fan growing up, and certainly become the professional that I am today because he€™s a role model of mine and someone I€™ve moulded myself after. So it would be an honour to be able to step into the ring with one of my favourite wrestlers ever.€
