After The Rock cost Cena the championship, the next night on Raw Cena challenged The Rock to meet him in the main event of WrestleMania 28. This contest brought back many fans from the 90s on the way to becoming the biggest drawing match in WWE history. In many ways it was this generations Hulk Hogan vs Andre The Giant as far as the magnitude of the contest. After one year of unprecedented hype, Rock and Cena put on a stellar match, and shattered records along the way. This bout featured none of the resentment their WrestleMania 29 encounter did, and stands the test of time as the peak of John Cenas legendary career.
