15 Days That Will Haunt Vince McMahon Forever

12. October 17, 1994: Randy Savage's Last WWF/E Appearance

This was the last day that €˜Macho Man€™ Randy Savage appeared in a WWF building. They were taping three weeks€™ worth of RAW episodes, so Savage would technically appear on TV until the October 31 edition of RAW that year, but the reality of it was he was no longer with the company. Savage jumped to WCW, with the reason and motivation for this move being a bit unclear. What is clear is that Vince never really considered bringing the Macho Man back, despite the fact that he was still very popular and could still wrestle relatively well. Even as the Monday Night Wars ended, Vince never took the opportunity to try and bring Macho Man back, or even to extend the olive branch of peace. Then, on May 20, 2011, Macho Man passed away, and with it, any chances of seeing the legendary Macho Man alive in a WWE ring ever again. If Vince was a smarter man, he would€™ve gone after Macho Man on that fateful October day and tried to convince him to stay. It would€™ve been better for both of them, as Savage was just another big fish in an over-crowded sea in WCW.
