5. From 2010-2015, The Number One Entrant Was The Same Three Guys On Loop
Like some extended, demented melding of The Royal Rumble and Groundhog Day (which generally are only days apart), the 2010 edition of the Rumble began this curious pattern with Dolph Ziggler hitting the ring first. The following year, then Nexus-leader CM Punk kicked off the only-ever 40-man Rumble match. In 2012, The Miz entered first, 'earning' the number after losing a match on Raw to former ally R-Truth. Then the loop commenced. The 2013 match was led off by Ziggler, all but forced to take the spot from spiteful Vickie Guerrero. In 2014, Punk fell into a similar story, being given the number one entry by Authority consigliere Kane. The following year, The Miz entered first without a story reason, but it did conclude one of the most bizarre coincidences wrestling has ever seen.
