The promo is best known for having an allusion to Sonny and Cher's 1967 hit song "And The Beat Goes On," but it's when free jazz mystic Sun Ra's "Space Is The Place" comes into the conversation that things reach another level. "Unbelievable. Time Distortions. Space is the place, Mean Gene Okerlund. Go down that lonesome highway, yeah! But dont be hypnotized, no. Reincarnation doesnt have to be. You can concentrate and you can, uh, mental telepathy, yeah!" And if that isn't weirdly great enough for you, he redoubles his efforts with this: Right there the fork in the road. I said go right, Elizabeth said go left. I went right and then, and then, I understand what the situation was. I went over that one bridge, yeah.
