15 Huge WWE WrestleMania 38 Predictions You Need To Know

"The Most Stupendous Two-Night WrestleMania In WWE History" might not quite be THAT. But...

WrestleMania 38 is a first.

'The Show Of Shows' trialled the two-night format back in 2020 because to try and present eight hours of empty arena wrestling would have been more torturous than some of the three hour disasterpieces we were all fed later that summer.

A year, a month and a day on from the initial closedown, WrestleMania 37 played host to the first attempt to return to normality once some end-of-days thunderstorms had finally passed over Tampa's Raymond James Stadium. A pirate ship shot fireworks out of cannons, Night One in particular captured the emotion of life's creeping return, and way more matches ruled than sucked thanks in large part to human beings replacing the ThunderDome heads that had looped since the prior August.

WrestleMania 38 will be a combination of both those shows and every other stadium WrestleMania. Uniquely positioned as the first true two-night full (ish) house version of the event, WWE have labelled it as the "most stupendous" because there's nothing to compare it against and Vince McMahon implied on Pat McAfee's show that he pretty much invented the word.

It can't afford to fail to live up to expectations, or at very least meet them. But this is 2022 WWE. Can it?

15. Drew McIntyre Vs. Happy Corbin

Drew McIntyre remains in need of the moment he was promised two years ago.

The 2020 Royal Rumble victory didn't afford him a WrestleMania main event for the ages unless the historical nature of working to nobody in a gym counts. And it shouldn't. This time last year, he was pegged to defeat Bobby Lashley in something approaching a normal event before Vince McMahon changed his mind and Florida weather delayed a humbling defeat. SummerSlam was a big deal in Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium but McIntyre wasn't - he beat Jinder Mahal easily and made vague threats to use his sword...

...as he's done in the build to this match!

It's so heatless in fact, that WWE have spotted the opportunity to split Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss up and are now leading with that instead. Not exactly MJF and Wardlow during the CM Punk angle, but a talking point beyond the inevitable and depressing outcome at least.

Winner (?) - Drew McIntyre
