The initial announcement of the second Jumanji film may have been pretty divisive (particularly in the wake of Robin Williams' death), but it ended up being hugely entertaining and very, very lucrative, so it's little surprise that a sequel was pretty quickly optioned.

The plot will apparently focus on the origins of the game and we'll see the cast of Jumanji 2 - led by The Rock, Karen Gillan, Jack Black and Kevin Hart all returning. Expect more of the big spectacle, big heart and laughs combination this time out too.

The Rock also has Jungle Cruise, which seems to overlap Jumanji a little, but which should channel the Disney pulling power and be one of the biggest family films of the year.
