Some of you reading this might be surprised to see HHH on this list. After all, theres a myriad of stories about how he abused his relationship with Stephanie McMahon and engaged in backstage politicking to hinder the success of his co-workers. However, what that argument ignores is two notable instances of where Triple H swallowed his pride and did what was best. First, there was the Curtain Call Incident, where he, Diesel, Razor Ramon, and Shawn Michaels, embraced in the ring together, in clear violation of the illusory nature of pro wrestling that Vince was still trying to protect at the time. With Hall and Nash gone, and HBK as World Champion, the punishment fell solely on the shoulders of Hunter Hearst Helmsley, who lost his main event push and was relegated to humiliating curtain-jerker matches. But HHH took his punishment in stride; he didnt complain, he didnt fight back, and he didnt contemplate leaving the WWE for greener pastures. He stayed loyal WWE and accepted his punishment like a man. Second, in his role in NXT, Triple H is looking towards the future, and is doing whatever he can to help build WWE for tomorrow. While his particular vision of NXT differs from Vinces, Triple H is bringing in lots of viewers, Network subscriptions, and money by putting his own interests aside and building a product thats more diverse and thus more financially successful. Considering how much work he puts into producing fantastic shows in NXT, as well as his commitment to his on-screen character and the quality of his in-ring work, it would be insulting to call Triple H anything other than loyal.
