Before last year's WrestleMania, there were only two types of Money in the Bank cash-ins that hadn't happened yet: a cash-in at WrestleMania and a cash-in while a match is going on. Seth Rollins killed two birds with one curb stomp. For the first time since WrestleMania 9, somebody who wasn't advertised to compete for the WWE Championship walked out with the championship, as Rollins cashed in and pinned Roman Reigns after turning the one-on-one match with Brock Lesnar into a triple threat. Apparently, the decision to have Rollins win the title was only made mere hours before the show, making this moment that much more shocking. Smart money had Reigns winning the title, and Rollins cashing in on him at another time.
