Since taking over the head of D-Generation X from Shawn Michaels a year prior, Triple H was one of the biggest babyfaces in the WWF, third only to Steve Austin and The Undertaker. Heading into WrestleMania 15, Triple H was in a feud with The Corporation, which had previously lured Chyna away from DX. In Hunters match with Kane, Chyna turned on Kane, presumably turning back babyface. Later that night, during Shane McMahons European Championship match, Triple H and Chyna came to ringside seemingly to offset the interference of Corporation member Test. While Chyna distracted the referee, Triple H pulled Test out of the ring, then went into the ring and shockingly pedigreed X-Pac, who had been his brother for an entire year! This was the start of how Triple H would become The Game, but the fact that the leader of D-Generation X joined The Corporation was the most shocking moment of the night.
