While Shawn Michaels is often credited with training Daniel Bryan, it was actually William Regal who played the biggest role in turning the young wrestler into the American Dragon. It's clear from his comments that he values their friendship, and the fact that he highlights the time he spent training him as his proudest moment in the industry speaks volumes in regards to the history and respect these two share. In another Tweet, Regal mentioned an episode of The JBL & Cole Show featuring a segment with him and Bryan, calling it the "favourite non Wrestling entertainment piece I ever did." With a career as illustrious as his, that's high praise indeed!
