As touched on in the first part of this feature, Joanie Laurers wrestling training came courtesy of Wladek Killer Kowalski, the man who was also responsible for training the King of Kings, HHH. The then-25 year old Laurer attended Kowalskis Malden, Massachusetts wrestling school back in 1995 before going on to do some independent shows and eventually winding up on the WWF roster. If Kowalski is to be believed, he ended up playing a role in Joanie getting hired by Vince McMahons World Wrestling Federation.
