NXT didn't dine out on Vince McMahon's rolodex for wrestler-in-the-crowd moments on this week's vital edition of the show, but instead chose two men inextricably linked to the brand's biggest power player and the brand new narrative with echoes of old.

Kevin Nash and Scott Hall are absolutely class and should be on every wrestling show, but they warranted a cameo here as architects of the 1990s ratings war that inspires so much of the excitement for this generation of fans getting such a thing for the first time.

Even Mauro's "Hey Yo look who's in the hizouse" call couldn't melt the coolest guys in the room.
