During the 1990s, Sid was one of the most inscrutable competitors in all of wrestling. He bounced back and forth between WWE and WCW and never seemed to endear himself to decision-makers in either company, but nevertheless, he got high-profile work whenever he wanted it. His appearances were mostly limited to random attacks, chokeslams, and powerbombs, and when ECW began having financial troubles, he jumped to WCW.
