11. Carlito (Caribbean Cool)

In terms of an upgrade, this might be at the top of the list.

Carlito Caribbean Cool debuted in WWE in 2004 and would make an immediate impact, defeating John Cena in his first match to win the United States Championship. (Now that’s a memorable first match!)

However, his name was a mouthful, and it was trimmed down to just Carlito, though he retained his Caribbean-themed entrance music (and Carlito’s Cabana talk show), and of course, he kept using his, “That’s (not) cool” catchphrase.

It’s a wonder why WWE didn’t just go with Carlito Colon as they originally intended, considering that younger brother Primo and cousin Epico both use the family surname.
