5. Ember Moon

When you look at debuting wrestlers in 2018, Ember Moon is something of an enigma.

Moon debuted to some fanfare after WrestleMania and embarked on a three-month winning streak in singles action. Even after losing in July, she still has won most of her singles bouts. She has eye-popping offense and a killer finisher. There’s every reason to think she’ll hold a title sooner rather than later.

Unfortunately, she still something of a mystery as a character. That’s where WWE has failed her so far. The wins in the ring are great, but we don’t know what makes Moon tick, who she is.

Ember also hasn’t had much in the line of feuds, aside from some battles with the Riott Squad and a more recent rivalry with Nia Jax. Perhaps an actual program with Jax – with Moon triumphing – would help put her on a better path. Still, she’s off to a pretty good start on Raw.
