Unfortunately for Wolfe, he has more in common with the 2018 Germany squad than 2014’s winners. He’s barely turned up on SmackDown, his more famous teammate Eric Young is a bit like Mesut Özil in that nobody can work out if he’s any good, and they left a key asset in Nikki Cross at home.

Still, as a wrestler who isn’t from North America, he has done enough to warrant inclusion here, and wrestles with the sort of lunging two-footed lunacy that the early stages of the World Cup is revered for.
