16 WWE 80s Stars That Should Be Hall Of Famers

8. Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart

Certainly his career pales to that of former partner Bret Hart, but The Hart Foundation made an indelible mark on the pages of wrestling history. Not only were their matches the stuff of legend, but they were one of the few teams to match two men of different body types and ring-styles as a regular tandem. Hart's speed and mat mechanics complimented Neidhart's brute strength and deceiving agility. It can be argued that without Neidhart, "The Hitman" doesn't have the historic career that he ended up having. Hart was unable to break out of opening matches in 1985 until he turned heel and teamed with "The Anvil", who was getting a minimal push with Jimmy Hart in his corner. The rest, as they say, is history.
