16 WWE Superstars Who Did Not Belong At WrestleMania

By Erik Beaston /

1. Nathan Jones

Nathan Jones SO didn't belong on the WrestleMania card that on the night of the event, during a pre-taped segment that aired on Sunday Night Heat, he was written out of a tag team match pitting him and The Undertaker against Big Show and A-Train. He was incredibly green, an inexperienced wrestler on the receiving end of a pretty impressive push that existed only because of his massive physique. Jones had wrestled for the Australian-based WWA, competing against Jeff Jarrett and Scott Steiner. But his performances in those matches exposed his weaknesses, something WWE was not willing to do at their most storied event. Having waited long enough, holding out hope that he would show them something in the ring, and off-screen, that suggested he was ready for the spotlight that came with the extravaganza. He did not, and he was not, and the result was a Handicap match won easily by The Phenom.
