17 Early 90s WWE Superstars You Totally Don't Remember

1. Tugboat/Typhoon

Fred Ottman€™s WWF career wasn€™t very successful. He was given a sailor€™s gimmick, complete with white pants, striped shirt, sailing hat, and miming pulling the cord of an air horn and making a €˜Toot-toot€™ noise. He would feud with Earthquake and later receive a shot at Mr. Perfect€™s Intercontinental Championship, but was unsuccessful. He later changed allegiance and names, called himself €˜Typhoon€™ and aligned with Earthquake instead and even won the World Tag Team Championship with his fellow big man. But it was in WCW where he would forever cement his legacy. That€™s right: Fred Ottman was the Shockmaster. So unlike most of the stars on this list, who were forgotten because their careers were wither too short or too insignificant, Fred Ottman€™s WWF career is an afterthought because his WCW career included what WWE once described as €œthe greatest debut of all time €“ albeit for all the wrong reasons.€
