Jericho asks how the two of them got paired off from the rest of the clan, wondering if it was apparent from the start. Bubba says that he was working as a babyface at the time and D-Von came in as a heel with the mission of setting him straight. They tried to put D-Von in a team with Axl Rotten but it didn't work because the fans loved Axl. The stuttering gimmick Bubba had been doing was getting stale and he knew that he and D-Von had chemistry together, plus he knew that he was a better heel than babyface. He went to Heyman and suggested that he team the two of them up and he was willing to try. From the very first night when they hit the 3D on The Sandman they all knew they had something special.
