Older wrestling fans may have experienced déjà vu when Tony Schiavone was chaperoning Cody to the arena for Dynamite. Everything, from the hushed tones of both men, the way it was shot, those internal car scenes and the emotional thread running through Schiavone's words conjured up images of 'Mean' Gene Okerlund and Ric Flair from WCW's Starrcade 1993.

Back then, Flair and Okerlund spoke about family and tradition the same way before Ric's match with Big Van Vader. This was a nice reprisal for anyone who recalls WCW history.
