Did WWE secretly know that Cain Velasquez' punches would be horrible?

Kevin Dunn's crew changed camera angles after almost every single one of his bogus blows to Shelton Benjamin's head and body. Squint your eyes and you'd be forgiven for thinking Shane McMahon had shaved his head and started hanging out with Rey Mysterio.

Those worked rabbit punches were not good.
