The World Title Series continued to heat up this week as we drew closer to seeing the numbers get whittled down to just 16 wrestlers, but of course, it's hard to deny that ever since this tournament started, Impact has felt rather disjointed. After all, big-time players like EC3 are nowhere to be seen, titles are never defended and that Jeff Jarrett GFW storyline was suddenly dropped like a bad habit. Hopefully TNA do have some sort of big picture gameplan for their India and UK tour dates coming up, because the company desperately needs to come sprinting out of the World Title Series with a run of quality shows if it wants to find a way to survive. This week, however, was your usual dose of embarrassing commentary, sometimes engaging wrestling, bizarre crowd antics and so on. Plus, that "anticipated" Jeff Hardy interview was finally unveiled, and a certain TNA talent took a not-so-subtle stab at the WWE. It may be bad and weird a lot of the time, but it's usually at least entertainingly bizarre, right?
18. More Promos For That Jeff Hardy Interview
The show opened in wildly anti-climactic style as Pope and Josh promoted that much-hyped Jeff Hardy interview, before yet another promo aired that desperately tried to sell that this was something worth watching. Sadly, every clip of Jeff just shows him looking wildly unenthusiastic, but to waste even more air time, another promo was aired mid-way through the show that just repeated the same clips we'd already been shown from last week. If you thought all this hype for a damn interview was a bit much, you'd be right...but more on that later.
