19 Things You Probably Missed From WWE SmackDown (July 9)

13. Mics In The Fridge

WWE

Y'know what doesn't suck? The fact that Big E keeps WWE microphones in a nearby refrigerator until he's ready to bring them out of storage for some guest commentary banter. This week, E hauled two mics out of the fridge and handed one to Pat McAfee.

12. This Crazy Bullsh*t

Not content to bathe their feet during Baron Corbin vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, McAfee and Big E decided to start an air band too. Post-match, Pat scaled the announce desk and played air guitar barefoot. Meanwhile, behind him, E could be seen miming violin along to Nakamura's entrance tune.

What a gig Pat McAfee has, eh? The dude gets to wear ripped jeans when everyone else wears suits, say pretty much whatever the hell he pleases on colour commentary, and even become a guitar hero on the table without any shoes on.

11. Michael Cole Getting Mixed Up

WWE

A down-on-his-luck Baron Corbin attacked Shinsuke Nakamura in the aisle before their MITB qualifier could even start. That's when Rick Boogs dropped his guitar (a real one) and defended his 'King' from the assault. Simple enough stuff, right?

Not for Michael Cole.

SmackDown's lead announcer randomly yelled, "Boogs coming to Corbin's aid" as the 80s rocker smashed Baron into the security barricade. If that's coming to someone's aid, then who knows what'd happen if Boogs was ambushing Corbin.
