Finn Balor stealing The Undertaker's gimmick? Surely not...

With the next NXT special not till mid December in London, the product playing out on our WWE Network screens is plodding along quite nicely. The Battle Royal that took place a couple of weeks ago has set up a couple of fascinating rivalries, while quite literally every member of the NXT Universe is chomping at the bit to see Apollo Crews step into the ring with Finn Balor with the NXT Championship on the line. This week's episode had a couple of big selling points that were sure to have intrigue high heading into the event. Samoa Joe was set to face-off against new main roster member Tyler Breeze, while new Diva, or female wrestler I should say, Nia Jax was set to make her second televised appearance. We had all of that, and the prospect of this episode telling us what sort of role James Storm would be playing in NXT. The former TNA star made his televised debut last week in a squash match against Danny Burch but his role in developmental is still unknown. Would he be used to put the younger guys over like Rhyno is at the moment, or would he be a prime time player like Samoa Joe? Whatever the case with Storm, there was sure to be a few WTF moments throughout the duration of this episode, here's 19 of them.

Just look at Shazza, does she remind you of anyone? Oh yeah, the blonde hair, the light blue, the frilly skirt... She is quite literally Alexa Bliss before the would-be number one contender became a heel alongside Blake and Murphy. It looks like the powers that be have been impressed with Shazza's work in the Performance Center and were desperate to get her on television, so desperate that they didn't leave themselves enough time to come up with a gimmick and make her own ring gear. "Here, Alexa doesn't use that outfit anymore, take that for the time being." Also, how many female competitors are coming from Australia these days? Shazza joins the likes of Emma, Billie Kay, and Peyton Royce as females arriving in NXT from Down Under.
