Top British wrestling prospects Jamie Hayter and Skye Smitson have been pulled from a Revolution Pro event on 4 July after accepting offers to attend a WWE NXT UK tryout.

RevPro announced on Sunday that Hayter and Smithson would no longer compete at Live at the Cockpit 51, where they were booked to contest Hayter's Undisputed British Women's Championship.

Former champions Zoe Lucas and Gisele Shaw will fight for the now-vacant championship instead.

Hayter held the belt for 140 days prior to vacating it, having defeated Shaw to take the strap at Epic Encounters 8 in February. She had since mounted two successful defences over Smitson, with the first ending via double countout in March before Jamie retained again via DQ two months later.

2019 saw Hayter work two bouts for AEW. She is also a STARDOM veteran, having worked close to 100 matches for the market-leading joshi promotion since 2018.

Smitson, meanwhile, has been a wrestler since 2012, and is best known for her work in promotions like wXw, EVE, and now RevPro.

Headlined by Ricky Knight Jr. vs. former NXT UK wrestler Dan Moloney, Live at the Cockpit 51 will be RevPro's first show in front of a live audience since the COVID-19 pandemic's onset last March.
