2 WWE Superstars "In Limbo" With WWE Management - Report
Bad news for these two struggling Superstars.
Lars Sullivan and Lio Rush might not be long for the WWE Universe.
This statement shouldn't come as any kind of surprise to anyone who's been paying attention to wrestling media this year, but PWInsider have come through with a new report on both men, stating that Sullivan and Rush are "in limbo" when it comes to their positions in the promotion.
Sullivan's shaky status comes from his injury record. Currently sidelined for the rest of 2019, a knee issue suffered while feuding with the Lucha House Party has compounded a miserable calendar year for Sully, who was fined $100,000 when offensive message board posts made prior to his WWE signing resurfaced.
As far as Rush goes, Bobby Lashley's former manager issued a fiery rant against WWE's alleged mistreatment of him earlier this year, leading to him being removed from television completely. PWInsider claim that there might be a spot for him to return in the future, though Lio has been concentrating on music and other projects in his time away from the ring.
It's hard to imagine WWE releasing Sullivan while he's still injured. Rush, on the other hand, is a different matter entirely. Perhaps their respective futures will become clearer over the coming months.
