9. Daniel Bryan Vs. CM Punk - Money In The Bank 2012
Isn't it amazing how much can change in a year? The 2011 version of the Money in the Bank PPV was the hottest of the year and one of the best top-to-bottom wrestling events of all time. By the time the 2012 version rolled around, however, it was just another show, which was sad. Thankfully, Bryan and Punk were on hand to deliver a typically great match that was much different from their Over the Limit blinder, thanks to the No DQ stips and the involvement of guest referee AJ Lee. If their OTL match was the proverbial game of chess, then this was just an all-out, hard-hitting war. The kendo stick and chair-based offense was hard to watch, at times, due its brutal nature. After recovering from a (admittedly predictable) ref bump, AJ came back out to add more storyline drama. The Black Widow counted down Bryan's shoulders after Punk hit a reverse superplex through a table for the win. Not even the Money in the Bank ladder match itself could follow these guys.
