Adam Copeland, or Edge as he was known in the ring, is one of the most popular WWE superstars of recent years. Until a neck injury forced him to retire in 2011, the Canadian was a hugely active superstar, winning eleven world championships during his career. He made his name in tag team and hardcore wrestling, alongside friend and storyline brother Christian. The two men innovated a move called the Con-chair-to, in which an opponent's head is smashed by twin steel chair shots. Ultimately though, it was these matches that cut his career short. There's only so many times you can hit a spear through a flaming table or from the top of a ladder. Edge has already been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, so his legacy at the top of the company is assured.
