The second night of Ring of Honors Glory by Honor V saw Bryan Danielson partake in what could very well be the absolutely best match of his career. The trouble here, though, is that the career of the American Dragon has featured so many high class, top drawer matches, it really is hard to pick an all-time best. That said, his match with KENTA in September 2006 is certainly in the conversation in fact, its right up there at the top of the list when it comes to that particular conversation. These days, KENTA is known as Hideo Itami in NXT. Whilst hes been impressive at times, his run in WWEs developmental territory has failed to quite hit the heights that many were hoping, and obviously a large part of that is down to the superstars current injury status. Make no mistake about it, though, this is a guy who is one of the best in the world. Whilst part of NOAH, KENTA saw himself challenging for Bryan Danielsons ROH Championship in 06. What followed was one of the greatest matches you could ever see. With the Champion nursing several injuries, KENTA absolutely destroyed him in the first half of the match, strategically taking his opponent apart before Danielson decided to go balls-to-the-wall and eventually, somehow, come out on top. Not only is this match one of the greatest matches, moments and matching up of opponents in the last 15 years, its also right up there in terms of performance as one of the very best moments of Bryans career.
