The Rock's WWE debut took place at Survivor Series 1996 in New York City. He was on a team with Marc Mero, Jake Roberts & Barry Windham (you can see Windham on the right) against Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Crush, Goldust & Jerry Lawler. it was smart to put Rock in the ring with Lawler in his first WWE match because he had trained with him before going to the main roster. Rock was the sole survivor for his team.
