20 Most Iconic WWE Entrance Themes

14. Kurt Angle

There's likely no theme throughout the history of wrestling that fits more than that of Kurt Angle's.When the Olympic Gold medalist debuted in the WWF in late 1999, he borrowed a tune, titled "Medal" from The Patriot, who had used it two years prior during a brief run in the WWF. During his 7 year run with the WWE, Angle was easily identified by the theme, which brings forth a powerful, patriotic tone. For a character such as Angle this was crucial, as his persona revolved around his amateur credentials, whether he was face or heel. The theme was modified towards the end of his run in an effort to stop the "you suck" chants in which were still being playfully thrown towards him in unison with the song. Needless to say, nobody identifies "Medal" as the Patriot's theme any more, it's all Kurt Angle's, even though he hasn't used it in seven years.
