William Regal turned on Team WWF to join the Alliance in October 2001, he debuted a new theme with a familiar-sounding start, but then launched into a slow crescendo of trumpets that sounds very (for lack of a better term) regal. He would use this theme throughout the fall of 2001 and in early 2002 when he defeated Edge for the Intercontinental Championship, but soon afterward, he would switch to the theme we all recognize today, Villain.
