14. ... But Those Guys Were Banned?

WWE were this close to telling a good in-show story with The New Day last night, but discrepancies like Big E and Xavier Woods interfering in Kofi Kingston's handicap bout with The Bar prevented it from landing.

This was silly. It was explicitly stated that E and Woods were banned from ringside for the bout, yet they came out anyway, attempting to save their buddy from Sheamus and Cesaro. This prompted Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura to run down and better them before they could hit the ring. Dumb, dumb, dumb

Why set a "no interference" stipulation if you aren't going to adhere to it? And if the counter-argument is "well maybe The New Day weren't going to interfere," what the hell were they going to do? Call Sheamus and Cesaro names? Stomp their feet and make a noise? Have a cry?
