The absence of crowd noise meant the wrestlers needed to fill the gaps themselves, resulting in boatloads of good old-fashioned trash talk across both nights.

Kabuki Warriors vs. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross was always going to be one of 'Mania's most vocal bouts, given the participants, but they ramped things up here, with Kairi Sane and Asuka's all caps YELLING volleyed by over the net by the challengers. It was as entertaining as the action itself. AJ Styles and The Undertaker's improved Boneyard banter was great too, as was Charlotte Flair verbally flexing her superiority against Rhea Ripley.

We know this kind of chit-chat goes down in most wrestling matches anyway - it's just that we don't usually get to hear it. It was nice to hear the wrestlers amplifying their voices for 'The Showcase of the Immortals.'
