20 Spookiest Ever Wrestling Characters

13. Bray Wyatt

The most modern example of a spooky character on this list, Bray Wyatt nonetheless belongs in this company. As 'Husky Harris', Windham Rotunda was going nowhere in the WWE system. Making the bold decision to reinvent himself in 2012, Rotunda created the guise of Bray Wyatt. Appearing as a foreboding preacher who warned about the 'end of all things to come', Wyatt also unnervingly talked about 'Sister Abigail'. Now, he's known as 'The New Face Of Fear' on the main roster. Quickly outgrowing the NXT developmental system, Wyatt was shunted up the ladder onto shows like Raw and Smackdown in 2013. Since then, he has thrived, becoming known as one of the better promo men under contract. Talking with real confidence, Wyatt's hushed delivery can often be chilling. There's a cult-like vibe to The Wyatt Family. Bray is the leader, brainwashing the likes of Luke Harper and Braun Strowman. Mind games will become more prevalent as this list progresses, but Wyatt is the most current user of that tactic on WWE television. His general appearance is creepy enough, but look at the faces of adults in the front few rows when he performs his upside down spider-style walk. That's genuine fear.
