20 Things That Are Probably On Chris Jericho's List

Ink it in, maaaaan...

Remember where Chris Jericho was at the start of the year? It wasn't good. From his terrible "rooty, tooty, booty!" chant at The New Day to inexplicably beating AJ Styles at WrestleMania, Jericho was as lukewarm as he'd ever been. Beating him did little for the rising talents he was putting over, and one of the all-time great performers had been reduced to phoning it in.

Now? He's the most entertaining thing on Raw. Jericho has reinvented himself as WWE's resident pseudo-hipster veteran, and while fans were once calling for him to leave, those cries have become "please don't go".

Somehow, Jericho has made the most rudimental of playground insults ("stupid idiot!") one of the most quotable catchphrases in recent years. Todd Phillips, the $750 scarf, Dean Ambrose's potted plant, Dadbod: he's made all these things more over than half the roster, but none are more popular than The List of Jericho.

Initially unveiled as a list of gripes against Mick Foley, the list has grown to include all the issues (and individuals) that Jericho has a problem with. It already contains a big chunk of the Raw roster, and who knows how far he'll go with it?

Making the list and rejecting the Gift of Jericho is just something you don't want to do, and it's far from finished.

Here are 20 things that are probably on Chris Jericho's list.

20. Dean Malenko

The List of Jericho might be Y2J's hot new jam, but it's not the first list he's made.

Back in 1998, Jericho was in the midst of a long WCW feud with Dean Malenko, who called himself "The Man of 1,000 Holds". Jericho refused to wrestle him for much of the rivalry, but still wanted to prove his technical supremacy over Malenko.

How did he do it? By going four better, of course!

Jericho's "Man of 1,004 Holds" promo remains one of the funniest of his career, and a clear blueprint for The List of Jericho. Knowing this, that stupid idiot Dean Malenko was probably one of the first additions...
