5. Jushin Liger Refused To Be In The Same Dressing Room As Jake
If any indy promoters ever book Jushin Liger and want to get a rise out of him, just mention that Jake 'The Snake' Roberts is cutting a promo on the same card. Don't be surprised if the Japanese legend then high-tails it out of the building to catch a quick flight. That's what he did during a tour of Australia in the mid-90s.
Liger told the local promoter in Melbourne that he couldn't share a dressing room with Roberts if the ex-WWF star was bringing a snake along with him. He's terrified of the things and demanded that he get a room to change that was on the opposite side of the building.
What happened next is like something out of a horror movie.
Jushin showered, came out and stood in front of a mirror drying himself. As if on cue, Jake's snake started rising out of the toilet behind him and looking around the room. A still-naked Liger ran out screaming down the hall, and Roberts told staff he'd lost his reptile.
