John Cena's the heroic anti-hero of a champ, the beloved/hated performer who depending on how you view pro wrestling (entertaining spectacle vs. athletic spectacle) you lustily either cheer or boo. As a mini Hulk Hogan clone for WWE's bizarre 21st century, he's manned the fort and wrestled through injuries, declining paychecks and a company discovering progressive revenue streams and ultimately kept the company afloat Vince McMahon's company didn't go down the drain after the Attitude era. In having the intestinal fortitude to be the face of the WWE at such a strange time, Cena deserves a high level of respect, and amazingly enough, may be owed likely much more than he's earned from Vince McMahon.
