Vince McMahon loves larger-than-life characters, and is a firm believer in the notion that in a real fight, the bigger man will always win. Its because of this mentality that Vince hired the man who was quite possibly the single most uncoordinated and unskilled wrestler in recent memory, Giant Gonzalez. Gonzalez was billed at 7 feet 7 inches tall and weighed 460lbs; two featured he gained from suffering from gigantism. He was a massive hulk of a human being, yet he looked skinny and unimpressive in terms of physique. WWE tried to conceal this obvious flaw by making him wear an ugly, skin-colored bodysuit with airbrushed muscles, but that didnt hide his other massive weakness: he couldnt wrestle to save his life. Brought in as another giant to feed to the Undertaker, Giant Gonzalez could not sell, nor could he make a match entertaining. He almost never left his feet, and moved around like he was in pain when he walked. His matches were absolute disasters, and his WrestleMania IX match with The Undertaker was especially terrible; so much so that it very well might be the single worst match in WrestleMania history. If there were ever an example of why WWE should abandon the philosophy of big men are the best, it was Giant Gonzalez. He wouldnt work with anyone, and was not as impressive as WWE had hoped. Unfortunately, WWE did not learn from their mistake, and kept bringing in other giants to try and destroy the Undertaker, but none of them ever succeeded.
